Catholic Women’s League National Convention – August 10 to 14
Members of the CWL from Saskatoon and Prince Albert will be hosting the National CWL convention in Saskatoon the week of August 10 to 14th. This is a wonderful opportunity for members to join their sisters from across the league in celebration. There will be faith, fulfillment and most of all friendship. For more information or to see the full agenda with all of the events and guest speakers, visit www.cwl.ca/conventions. How can you participate?

Register to attend! The registration deadline is July 12th. Registration is done through the National office, either online or by mailing in a registration form and cheque. You can find this information at the convention website: www.cwl.ca/conventions

Volunteer! A convention of this size takes a lot of volunteers to run. There are many jobs that need to be filled such as hospitality and sales tables (to name a few). You can volunteer for one shift, or several, during the day or evenings, whatever fits your schedule. If you are interested in volunteering or just learning more about the different roles that need to be filled, contact Melanie at skcwl.convention@gmail.com or 306‑220‑9520.

Not able to attend the convention but still interested in helping? We are holding a working bee on Saturday July 6th at 10am at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall. We will be assembling registration bags, making some decorations and several other activities to get ready for the convention. No need to register, just show up and bring a friend. We will have all the supplies needed, but please bring your own lunch if you plan to stay for the day.
