BASIC ITINERARY (July 17 – Aug 3, 2016)

July 17, Day 1    Depart from Saskatoon to Berlin, Germany

July 18, Day 2    Arrive in Berlin. Travel by doubled-deck bus to Szczecin, Poland

July 19, Day 3    Days in Diocese (events in Archdiocese of Szczecinsko-Kamienska)

July 20, Day 4    Days in Diocese (a day trip along Baltic See attractions)

July 21, Day 5    Days in Diocese (a tour of Szczecin, afternoon youth events)

July 22, Day 6    Depart to Marian Shrine in Lichen

July 23, Day 7    Depart to Black Madonna Sanctuary in Chestochowa

July 24, Day 8    Depart to Krakow (visiting Auschwitz and Wadowice – birth place of JPII)

July 25, Day 9    Registration for WYD in Krakow (trip to Salt Mine/Caves in Wieliczka/Divine Mercy Shrine in Krakow)

July 26, Day 10  WYD begins this evening with Mass

July 27, Day 11  Morning catechesis, afternoon and evening WYD events

July 28, Day 12  Morning catechesis, welcoming ceremony with our Holy Father

July 29, Day 13  Morning catechesis, afternoon WYD events, Stations of the Cross

July 30, Day 14  Pilgrimage Walk. Evening Prayer Vigil with our Holy Father

July 31, Day 15  Mass with our Holy Father, Depart to Karpacz – Sudety Mountain Resort

August 1, Day 16  Karpacz – Retreat with visiting regional attractions

August 2, Day 17  Karpacz – Retreat and visiting Snow Mountain

August 3, Day 18  Karpacz – Depart to Berlin Airport (flight to Canada – sweet home)
