As Case Researcher and Notary for the Marriage Tribunal Office, my job is to assist people who request to have a prior marriage declared invalid or annulled.
People mainly choose to go through the process to be able to remarry in the Catholic Church, but often times people want to heal and move forward in their lives.
For those who choose to go through the annulment process, my responsibilities include explaining the process, providing assistance and inquiries, to gather and request all necessary documentation, testimonies, notifications, process cases in the various stages a case goes through, and to have cases fully prepared for judgment.
Once judgement is finalized, it is then my responsibility to notify Plaintiff and Respondent if required, and place of registers for baptism, marriage etc. It is also my responsibility to file, record and keep accurate account of all declarations and documentary processes in the Chancery Office.
