Social Justice

A special thank you to my colleagues at the Pastoral Centre who along with help from two others, Yvette and Marie, were able to volunteer at the 'Soup and Sandwich Saturday' at the Outpost event that occurred on Holy Saturday, April 15, 2017. 'Soup and Sandwich Saturday' is an event, that is sponsored by several churches, representing a number of denominations in the city of Prince Albert and area. Holy Saturday was the Roman Catholic’s turn to host.  Volunteers that helped serve at this ministry, whose purpose is to serve the hungry in our community; all agreed that it was a faith-filled experience. Again, thank you to those that were able to help out. Funds used to sponsor this event were provided by the generous parishioners that support the Bishop`s Annual Appeal.
