Resources for Prison Ministry

  • Friends on the Outside is a faith-based organization in Regina, Saskatchewan, dedicated to supporting members of the community morally and socially, with special consideration given to members’ unique needs. In particular, we work with current and former inmates, their families and friends providing friendship, hope, and support during difficult times –whether it be “inside” or “outside” the Correctional Services system. We are respectful of all faith traditions. We enjoy Partnerships with Campion College, the Oskana Centre, the Regina Correctional Centre, and the Archdiocese of Regina. Friends on the Outside is a registered charity. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax receipts are issued for donations received.
  • The Saskatoon Diocese's Restorative Ministry supports the embracement of two life paths in becoming one in an accepting community.  This office provides pastoral outreach at local prisons, and engages volunteers and parishes in answering Jesus' call to care for the prisoner. (Matt 25:36):
